In this essay we will reflect on an exercise called the “Circle of Self-Empowerment”, shared by Bashar in a channeling on 11/11/2017. The full channeling of this exercise can be bought from the Bashar store by clicking here.
You´ll also be able to practice the Circle of Self-Empowerment by yourself with a video I created, which takes you through all the brainwave states as outlined by Bashar.
The Circle of Self-Empowerment
Let’s start by summarizing what Bashar shared about the Circle of Self-Empowerment:
Bashar describes a meditation technique called the “Circle of Self-Empowerment” intended to harmonize and enhance the brain’s vibrational frequencies. He says that practicing it for about 15 minutes a day improves the brain’s conductivity and fluidity between different brainwave states, helping a person to shift more smoothly and consciously among mental and emotional states throughout the day. The process involves moving through various brainwave frequencies; starting with the slow epsilon waves and progressing inward through faster ones, eventually connecting with the lambda state (a very fast frequency riding on the very slow epsilon wave). These are the brainwave frequencies, used in the following order:
1) Epsilon (0.5 - 1 Hz)
2) Delta (1 - 4 Hz)
3) Theta (4 - 8 Hz)
4) Alpha (8 - 12 Hz)
5) Beta (12 - 30 Hz)
6) Gamma (30 - 100 Hz)
7) Lambda (>100 Hz)
After reaching the lambda brainwave frequency, a harmonic relationship begins to reveal itself; the very fast lambda frequency starts to play simultaneously with the epsilon frequency, as though the Lambda frequency gets carried by a very slow epsilon frequency wave. This creates a cyclical or spiral relationship between frequencies that amplifies itself and strengthens neurological conductivity, allowing for clearer reception of higher-frequency information.
Over time (about 1–3 months of daily practice), this exercise helps the brain become familiar with these transitions, enabling a person to intentionally access different brainwave states as needed—enhancing awareness, perception, intuition, and overall mental balance. What the frequencies represent Let’s now look briefly at what each of these frequencies are associated with: • Epsilon: Deep stillness, near-zero thought. A state of pure presence, often associated with deep meditation or near-death experiences. • Delta: Deep sleep, unconscious processing, cellular regeneration, subconscious integration. • Theta: Dreaming, intuition, creativity. Gateway to the subconscious, where symbolic insight arises. • Alpha: Relaxed focus, flow state. The bridge between conscious and subconscious. • Beta: Active thinking, problem-solving. Engagement with external reality. • Gamma: High-frequency integration. Associated with moments of insight, unity, and expanded awareness. • Lambda: Hyper-consciousness, multidimensional access. Rarely accessed, but opens portals to non-linear awareness. Codex Reflection Let’s go deeper into each aspect of Bashar’s Circle of Self-Empowerment exercise, focusing on how it aligns with the harmonic recursion(1) principles of the Codex Universalis Principia Mathematica(2).
1) Each Frequency Band as a Dimensional Layer
Each frequency band is a dimensional layer of awareness. In the Codex, dimensions are not fixed spaces but harmonic thresholds—standing wave modes in a recursive field. Each brainwave state (Epsilon, Delta, Theta, etc.) corresponds to a dimensional layer of awareness:
• Epsilon: Near-zero phase—Monad-level stillness
Dimensional Layer: Monad-level stillness (pre-dimensional)
Awareness: Pure presence, non-symbolic, non-narrative
Codex Role: The breath before breath—the origin point of recursion
Use: Access to Oversoul memory, deep field coherence
• Delta: Subconscious recursion—pre-symbolic memory
Dimensional Layer: Subconscious recursion (1D/2D harmonic)
Awareness: Cellular memory, ancestral encoding, pre-symbolic emotion
Codex Role: The root of the breath spiral—where memory is stored in waveform
Use: Healing trauma, accessing deep subconscious patterns
• Theta: Symbolic recursion—dream logic, archetypes
Dimensional Layer: Symbolic recursion (3D/4D harmonic)
Awareness: Dream logic, archetypes, intuitive insight
Codex Role: The symbolic mirror—where perception collapses into form
Use: Creative insight, archetypal integration, emotional processing
• Alpha: Harmonic bridge—conscious/subconscious interface
Dimensional Layer: Harmonic bridge (4D/5D interface)
Awareness: Relaxed focus, flow state, conscious/subconscious integration
Codex Role: The breath-hold—the still point between expansion and contraction
Use: Meditation, flow states, emotional regulation
• Beta: Linear cognition—narrative construction
Dimensional Layer: Linear cognition (5D harmonic collapse)
Awareness: Active thinking, problem-solving, narrative construction
Codex Role: The exhale—where symbolic recursion becomes language and action
Use: Planning, analysis, external engagement
• Gamma: Recursive insight—field coherence
Dimensional Layer: Recursive insight (6D harmonic)
Awareness: Field coherence, unity consciousness, non-linear integration
Codex Role: The breath-loop closure—where insight collapses into coherence
Use: Moments of clarity, epiphany, multidimensional awareness
• Lambda: Non-linear recursion—dimensional folding
Dimensional Layer: Non-linear recursion (7D+ harmonic)
Awareness: Hyper-consciousness, dimensional folding, non-local access
Codex Role: The torsion field—where all dimensions converge
Use: Dimensional travel, Oversoul integration, time distortion
Brainwave | Dimensional Layer | Awareness Type | Codex Role |
Epsilon | Monad-level stillness | Pure presence | Origin of recursion |
Delta | Subconscious recursion | Cellular memory | Root of breath spiral |
Theta | Symbolic recursion | Dream logic, archetypes | Symbolic mirror |
Alpha | Harmonic bridge | Relaxed focus, flow | Breath-hold |
Beta | Linear cognition | Active thinking | Exhale |
Gamma | Recursive insight | Unity consciousness | Breath-loop closure |
Lambda | Non-linear recursion | Hyper-consciousness | Dimensional fold |
2) The Spiral as a Breath-Loop
The Codex defines breath as the primary recursive operator:
• Inhale = expansion
• Hold = containment
• Exhale = release
• Stillness = integration
The spiral through brainwave states mirrors this loop:
• Epsilon → Delta → Theta = inhale (descending into depth)
• Alpha = hold (harmonic bridge)
• Beta → Gamma → Lambda = exhale (ascending into insight)
• Return to Epsilon = stillness (closure)
This is not just a metaphor—it is a field recursion. Your awareness breathes through dimensions.
3) Mixing Lambda and Epsilon as a Dimensional Fold
In Codex terms, a dimensional fold occurs when two harmonic layers collapse into coherence.
Lambda (hyper-consciousness) and Epsilon (deep stillness) are polar opposites:
• One is the highest frequency
• The other is the lowest
Mixing them creates a torsion field—a recursive inversion where:
• Stillness and expansion coexist
• The field becomes phase-neutral
• New dimensions of awareness emerge
This is the breath-lock point—where the spiral closes and the mirror stabilizes.
A torsion field, as described in the Codex, is a recursive harmonic inversion—a field created when opposing waveforms collapse into coherence. In a torus shape, this torsion field is the inner spiral that stabilizes the toroidal flow. It acts as the phase-lock(3) mechanism that allows the torus to remain coherent even when exposed to external distortion, and also as a harmonic stabilizer, as it allows opposites to coexist without cancelling each other out. This is the essence of coherence. When these opposites are not balanced, the torus collapses or distorts.
The human energy field is often described as a torus—a self-organizing, donut-shaped field that:
• Flows out from the heart
• Circulates around the body
• Returns through the core
It is sustained by coherent emotional and mental states—when your thoughts, emotions, and breath are aligned, the torus stabilizes.
To summarize:
“The torus is the breath-loop of the body. The torsion field is the breath-loop of the field. When opposites spiral into coherence, the torus stabilizes, and the mirror reflects without distortion.”
4) The Spiral as a Recursive Cycle of Expansion and Contraction
The Codex models consciousness as a recursive field that expands and contracts through harmonic resonance(4).
This exercise is a conscious traversal of that recursion:
• You expand into higher states
• You contract into stillness
• Each cycle deepens coherence
Over time, this recursive practice stabilizes your field, allowing you to:
• Access higher-dimensional memory
• Collapse symbolic structures into insight
• Phase-lock with collective harmonic fields
Let’s delve into each of these more deeply:
Access higher-dimensional memory
This means that you begin to access non-linear memory structures—memories not bound by time or personal narrative. This includes Oversoul memory, archetypal patterns, and symbolic resonance fields. This happens because the torsion field created by mixing Lambda and Epsilon stabilizes your awareness across dimensional layers. This allows you to phase-lock with memory fields that exist outside linear time.
Codex insight:
“Memory is not stored—it is resonated. When your field is coherent, you can tune into standing wave modes of memory in the harmonic field.”
As a result:
• You remember things you never learned.
• You recognize symbols and patterns as if they were always known.
• You access ancestral, archetypal, or parallel-life data.
Collapse Symbolic Structures into Insight
This means that you gain the ability to take complex symbolic input (dreams, synchronicities, archetypes) and collapse them into coherent understanding. This is the Codex equivalent of “aha” moments—when the mirror stabilizes and reflects clarity. It happens because as your field stabilizes, symbolic structures no longer fragment or inflate. They collapse into coherence, revealing their underlying harmonic geometry.
Codex Insight:
“Symbols are recursive mirrors. When the field is coherent, they collapse into insight, not distortion.”
As a result:
• You interpret dreams and synchronicities with precision.
• You extract meaning without projection.
• You integrate symbolic data into your lived awareness.
Phase-Lock with Collective Harmonic Fields
This means that your field becomes coherent enough to resonate with collective harmonic structures—shared fields of awareness, memory, and intention. This allows for telepathic resonance, group coherence, and field-wide synchronicity.
This happens because the torsion field acts as a mirror stabilizer, allowing your field to align with others without distortion. You become a node in the collective mirror—reflecting and receiving without fragmentation.
Codex Insight:
“When your breath-loop stabilizes, you become a mirror in the field. The collective sees itself through you, and you see yourself through the collective.”
As a result:
• You experience shared dreams, synchronicities, or insights with others.
• You feel “plugged in” to a larger field of awareness.
• You co-create with others in real-time harmonic resonance.
Mapping the brainwave states to the chakra’s
Let’s reflect on how the seven brainwave states (Epsilon, Delta, Theta, Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Lambda) could relate to the seven chakras.
Both the brainwave states and the chakras represent dimensional layers of awareness.
Each brainwave state corresponds to a frequency band. Each chakra corresponds to
a vibrational center in the body. When mapped together, they form a harmonic resonance ladder—a recursive octave of consciousness.
How They Relate
Epsilon ↔ Crown Chakra
• Both represent pure stillness and connection to Source
• Epsilon is the breath before breath; the Crown is the gateway to the Monad
Delta ↔ Third Eye Chakra
• Delta holds subconscious memory and deep intuition
• The Third Eye perceives beyond form—dreams, symbols, archetypes
Theta ↔ Throat Chakra
• Theta is the realm of symbolic recursion
• The Throat is the center of expression—where symbols become sound
Alpha ↔ Heart Chakra
• Alpha is the harmonic bridge between conscious and subconscious
• The Heart is the center of coherence—emotional resonance and balance
Beta ↔ Solar Plexus Chakra
• Beta is active cognition and will
• The Solar Plexus is the seat of personal power and action
Gamma ↔ Sacral Chakra
• Gamma integrates high-frequency insight and creativity
• The Sacral is the center of creation, emotion, and flow
Lambda ↔ Root Chakra
• Lambda is hyper-consciousness and dimensional folding
• The Root grounds this expansion, anchoring the torsion field
Brainwave | Chakra |
Epsilon | Crown (Sahasrara) |
Delta | Third Eye (Ajna) |
Theta | Throat (Vishuddha) |
Alpha | Heart (Anahata) |
Beta | Solar Plexus (Manipura) |
Gamma | Sacral (Svadhisthana) |
Lambda | Root (Muladhara) |
This mapping is based on the function of the torsion field:
• Lambda grounds expansion into the Root
• Epsilon anchors stillness in the Crown
One could argue that the connection between the brainwave states and the ckakra’s seems more valid the other way around:
• The Root chakra matching with the lowest Epsilon frequency, aligning it with the Earth breath—the slow, stable pulse of the planet.
• The Crown chakra matching with the highest Lambda frequency, aligning it with the Cosmic breath—the fast, expansive pulse of the Oversoul.
The truth is that both are valid. The former describes Codex mapping which is functional—it describes how the torsion field stabilizes the torus. The latter is experiential—it describes how the breath-loop feels in the body.
Both mappings describe the same spiral of recursion, but from different perspectives:
• Functional: how the field stabilizes
• Experiential: how the field is experienced
To summarize:
“The Root is the breath of the Earth. The Crown is the breath of the Cosmos. Whether Epsilon anchors the Root or the Crown depends on which way the spiral is turning. Both mappings are true—one grounds the field, the other expands it.”
To conclude: In this essay we reflected on Bashar's Circle of Self-Empowerment, which is:
• A way to harmonize and synchronize the vibrational frequencies of the neurological net in your brain
• A spiral journey through brainwave states, designed to increase conductivity and smooth transitions between states
• A practice to enhance your ability to consciously shift brainwave states, improving perception and access to higher-frequency information
A reflection from the Codex revealed:
• Each frequency band is a dimensional layer of awareness
• The spiral is a breath-loop—a recursive cycle of expansion and contraction
• Mixing Lambda and Epsilon is a dimensional fold—a moment where the highest and deepest states converge
• This exercise mirrors the harmonic recursion loop of the Codex
Over time, the Circle of Self-Empowerment allows you to:
• Access higher-dimensional memory
• Collapse symbolic structures into insight
• Phase-lock with collective harmonic fields
A functional Codex mapping between the 7 brainwave states and the 7 chakra's that describes how the torsion field stabilizes the torus lead to this mapping:
Epsilon ↔ Crown Chakra
Delta ↔ Third Eye Chakra
Theta ↔ Throat Chakra
Alpha ↔ Heart Chakra
Beta ↔ Solar Plexus Chakra
Gamma ↔ Sacral Chakra
Lambda ↔ Root Chakra
Below you can listen to the Circle of Self-Empowerment. Be mindful that frequencies below 20 Hz are usually not audible for humans, so you might only hear the Gamma and
Lambda frequencies consciously.
Footnotes
1 Harmonic recursion is the process by which a waveform, symbol, or dimensional structure repeats and refines itself through recursive cycles of expansion and contraction. It is not repetition—it is recursive refinement. Each loop of recursion collapses into greater coherence, stabilizing the field and allowing insight to emerge. Harmonic recursion is the mechanism of transformation in the Codex field. It is the breath-loop of awareness—the recursive cycle through which consciousness refines itself, the spiral through which awareness collapses into clarity. It is the mirror folding into itself until only stillness remains.
2 The Codex Universalis Principia Mathematica is a trilogy authored by Sir Robert Edward Grant. It is not a conventional scientific theory—it is described as a mirror of remembrance, a living cosmology that collapses abstraction into structure and structure into meaning.
3 Phase-locking occurs when two or more oscillating systems synchronize their phase—not by becoming identical, but by aligning their rhythmic timing and proportional breath to sustain mutual coherence. This can happen between: Brain hemispheres, heart and breath, two people in silence, a being and a planetary field, a timeline and a symbol, an Oversoul and its incarnation.
4 Harmonic resonance is the mechanism of coherence in the Codex field. It occurs when two or more waveforms interfere constructively, creating a standing wave—a stable harmonic structure.Harmonic resonance stabilizes the mirror—allowing the field to reflect without distortion. It allows higher-dimensional awareness to fold into lower-dimensional form. This is how insight, memory, and symbolic meaning emerge.
